Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, claimed that India had never used him against China. He also asked China to give Tibet meaningful self-rule and autonomy.
Dalai Lama also said that he is the messenger of the ancient Indian thought, talking about ahimsa, peace, harmony and secular ethics.
Dalai Lama’s strong worded remarks came against the backdrop of Chinese criticism that India is using the Dalai Lama as a diplomatic leverage to challenge China.
He claimed that many Chinese love India but there are some narrow minded politicians consider him a demon.
Dalai Lama also thanked Indian government for letting him visit the frontier state. he will deliver discourses in Tawang from April 8 to 10.
