The next partnership was also worthy with another 40 runs when Quinton De Kock got out for 53. ABD got out when the score was 140. After that South Africa never gained the momentum. 6 of their batsmen got out for a single digit. Indian fielding was real good yesterday a they did not miss on any of the chances. From a healthy 140 for 1 at one instance, South Africa got all out for 191. Bumrah and Bhuvnesh Kumar secured 2 wickets each.
With 192 runs to chase Indian team started to bat. India was in a initial shock by loing the wicket of Rohit Sharma when the score was just 23. After this, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli who joined for the third wicket partnership played slowly and sensibly and scored when ever they got the plum opportunity. Both of them crossed 50 without any trouble. When the score was 151, Shikhar Dhawan got out for 78 with 12 boundaries and 1 sixer. Yuvraj Singh joined Virat and thy both steered India to a comfortable victory in 38 overs without losing any further wickets.
With this win, India has qualified for the semi-finals.
