Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh blamed Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in Kasmir and other parts of the country during a rally organised under the program “Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani” in Jharkhand’s Khunti district on Saturday.
The Home Minister also said that he was not willing to attend the SAARC meeting in Pakistan but decided to go after seeing terrorists members participating in rallies provoking innocent Kashmiris against India.
“There is no doubt terrorism is getting full support from Pakisatan,” said Singh while addressing the audiences at Khunti’s Ulihatu village.
Ulihatu village is birth place of Bhagvan Birsa Munda — a tribal leader who led the revolutionary movement against the British Raj which is noted as Millenarian Movement.
During the rally Singh mentioned that he made it a point to participate SAARC meeting in Pakistan after learning about the anti-India protests being made by various terrorist organizations and announcing that ‘Rajnath Singh will not be allowed Pakisatn.’
“India is a peace loving country but cannot subdue to any form of terrorism,” said the Home Minister.
Singh conducting a rally in one a district having high presence of left wing extremism urged the CPI-Maoist rebels to give up their arms and join the main stream and participate in development of the country.
“You will gain nothing killing the soldiers. Mend your ways or get ready to face the music,” Singh said.
Remembering Bhagwan Birsa Munda he reminded the tribal youths regarding the determination needed to fight all kind of corruption.
“Bhagwan Birsa Munda has left an unforgettable legacy. We all have to work together to keep up to his dreams,” Singh said.
During the program the Home Minister along with Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuwar Das felicitated the descendants of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
