Indian Women’s Cricket Team Captain Mithali Raj Gets A Brand New BMW 320d

After the Indian Women’s Cricket Team’s impressive performance at the 2017 World Cup in England, captain Mithali Raj was recently gifted a brand new BMW sedan.

She received this special gift from V. Chamundeswaranath, the former junior national selection committee chairman and now vice-president of Telangana Badminton Association.

The Indian women’s national cricket team captain Mithali Raj is now the owner of a brand new BMW 320d (3 Series), which was presented to her at a special felicitation ceremony held on August 1, 2017.

This is not the first time that V. Chamundeswaranath has shown this level of support towards Indian sportspersons.

Last year Chamudeswarnath sponsored to give BMW cars to Olympic medal winners PV Sindhu, Sakshi Malik and Dipa Karmakar for bringing fame to India at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The cars were presented to them by cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar.

That time the cars which were presented to the athletes included the BMW X1 and the BMW 320d.

BMW 320d is the most popular 3 Series sold in India and the car is powered by 2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of churning out a maximum of 180 bhp and develop a peak torque of 380 Nm.
