Chennai Super Kings fans can rejoice since their favourite team is all set to make a comeback in the coming edition of IPL. The handle on twitter which has not been that much active for a while has started buzzing again with lot of fans expressing their happiness and pleasure to see their team making the comeback.
CSK along with RR were handed over a 2 year ban back in 2015 which got over. CSK said it is planning to retain all its players and support staff it had in 2015.

M S Dhoni who is the face of CSK is the top priority for the team to retain but it has to wait to see what BCCI has to say in this regards. M S Dhoni has been playing for CSK since its inception in 2008 and has steered the team to Championships twice and has also led them in more finals appearance than any other team making it the Most Valuable Team by then.
“We haven’t spoken to Dhoni yet as his contract with Pune ends later this year. However, we will speak to him as and when we make our plans for the next season,” said George John, Director of Chennai Super Kings Limited.
“In an effort to engage with fans, the CSK management started their promotional campaign from today with a couple of social media activities aimed at evoking memories of MS Dhoni & Co in the colours of CSK over the past decade,” he added.
Acting President of the BCCI, CK Khanna said: “VIVO IPL will be enriched by the return of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Both the teams have enjoyed tremendous on-field success and have a mass following.
“The loyal fans will again get to see their favourite teams and stars in action from the upcoming season of the IPL.”
