The Tamilnadu government has said that the inquiry commission constituted to probe former CM J.Jayalalitha’s death , was ordered to complete its investigation within a period of three months starting from Monday onwards.
The notification was published on Monday but released on Wednesday.
Another notification dated Wednesday says that commission will re examine everything that happened from the time Jayalalitha was hospitalised till her death.
To be precise, the investigators will “enquire into the circumstances and the situations leading to the hospitalisation of the late Hon’ble Chief Minister on 22.09.2016 and subsequent treatment provided till her demise on 5.12.2016,” the notification says.
It had already announced that the probe would be headed by A.Arumughaswamy, retired judge of Madras High court.
The Apollo hospital also welcomed the move. Dr.Prathap reddy said he welcomed a judicial probe in to mystery surrounding the death of Jayalalitha and said hospital will co-operate regarding the probe.
