Indian army is having another active day at Kashmir’s border region. Four Hizbul Mujahideen militants and three army personnel killed in the ongoing ongoing encounter in the Nowpora Yaripora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
The incident started during the early morning hours as army received a tip about the militants hidings in Nowpora region.
Army forces surrounded Fraesal village and trying to clean up the area from militants.
It was also reported that one police personnel also sustained injuries.
Once the militants realized that army is closing in on them, heavy gunfire started and army also retaliated.
The security forces have recovered the bodies of two of the militants, identified as Mudasir Tantary and Mohd Hashim, associated with Hizbul Mujahideen.
The encounters is still underway, the number of terrorists is still unknown!
