Yesterday CRPF claimed that they killed 10-15 Maoists in a gigantic operation after attacking the central part of the Maoists in Bastar’s Dantewada on Sunday.
A senior officer of the Chhattisgarh police said that militaries went extreme interior into the forests to perform the operations.
He also said that Maoists were dwindling down once hit by shots. In these operations bodies or arms could be convalesced.
According to a CRPF officer, the operation was performed in Bijapur’s Basakura area by a combined squad of CRPF, the team was consisting CoBRA Special Task Force and District Reserve Group.
In an interview, D.I.G Dantewada P Sunderraj said that task was synchronized by a joint command and control Centre and it was thoroughly observed from Raipur. The task was positive operation.
Some days ago, it was reported that CoBRA special task force’s commandos were being Heli-plunged into the forest of Bastar.
