Several lives of media persons were saved due to alertness of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while inaugurating a huge water project in Gujrat claimed deputy chief minister of Gujarat Nitin Patel.
Patel added that Modi was examining the landscape in Jamnagar in the West part of the state after he pushed a button to release water from the dam when he noticed several journalists including camera-persons and photo-journalists were standing downstream side.
“The released water was gushing towards the media-persons. Modi ji on noticing the danger warned the media person with hand signs,” said Patel.
Patel added that the media-persons present at the event standing downstream covering the event were probably not aware of the danger. He further added that Prime Minister Modi ji by clapping hands and with other gestures alerted the journalists and averted a major mishap.
He added if the particular was not noticed by the prime minister a major incident could had happened.
