Launches new showrooms in Gurgaon & Noida
Noida, May 24, 2015: Kalyan Jewellers, India’s leading and trusted jewellery brand has announced the opening of two new showrooms in Gurgaon and Noida to consolidate its presence in the NCR. The Gurgaon showroom is located at Empire Square, JMD Mall, Sahid Nagar, whereas the showroom in Noida is located near the Sector 18 Metro Station. The company has invested Rs. 70 crore in the two new showrooms. With these showrooms, Kalyan Jewellers will now have a total of five exclusive showrooms in the NCR region and a total of nine showrooms in Northern India –including Jalandhar and Amritsar.
Spread across 10,000 square feet each, the Gurgaon and Noida showrooms will display an extensive array of over 200,000 gold and diamond designs, in contemporary and traditional motifs. The popular Florets, Tamas, Anokhi, Antara, Hera and Sinor Solitaire from the light weight Diamond jewellery collection will be made available.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. T.S.Kalyanaraman, Chairman and Managing Director said, “The showrooms have been launched given the positive consumer sentiment in NCR. NCR is a critical growth driver for the company as the region has grown rapidly and offers tremendous opportunity. Our wide range of designs will offer a compelling proposition for connoisseurs of jewellery and cater to distinct needs of the local communities.”
Kalyan Jewellers has been aggressively expanding its distribution network after the recent equity infusion. The company is investing Rs. 800 crore this fiscal to open 22 showrooms in India and West Asia. Kalyan Jewellers plans to enhance its distribution network by 30% and is targeting revenues of Rs. 13,000 crore by the end of the financial year. The company is also ramping up manufacturing operations and plans to have India’s biggest production house by 2017.
Today, Kalyan has emerged as a strong national player with presence across South India, Maharashtra, Gujarat, National Capital Region (NCR) and Punjab, and has a network of 79 exclusive showrooms in India and West Asia. It targets to have 100 showrooms by the end of the year.
