Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan confirmed his entry into politics.
“Entering politics would be like donning crown of thorns,” said Haasan.
The admission comes hours after he met Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal.
When asked if he had any right or left leanings, Haasan said that he would rather be right in the centre.
“People concerned are not interested in left or right or any isms. I think if you look at people and their concerns, the isms will find its way,” he said.
Haasan said that his political colour was black because it contained all colours, including saffron.
The brand new politician also pointed out that there was a need for someone to clear the political quagmire and make it habitable.
He stuck to his oft stance on politics saying that he entered the profession the moment he cast his vote for an election.
Months of speculation on Kamal Haasan’s decision to join politics has now come to an end.
“I must prepare before I take plunge. I am meeting people and will give them roadmap soon,” said Haasan adding that he wanted to be the CM for people of Tamil Nadu.
Hasan said that he was not promising any swift remedies, but vowed to start the process of change.
