Karl Baden is known as the father of the selfie as he is snapping selfie from past 30 years. He started taking selfie in simple black and white photo of himself. Later on he kept repeating it every day for the next three decades means 30 years.
Karl is 64-year-old Cambridge resident looks at comparisons to his selfie’s with change of time. His selfies and the portraits are filled in Instagram and Facebook. He says that these selfies which are snapped in past 30 years , have helped him to build a profile project. Finally these are exhibited in art galleries in Boston, New York City and in many other places over the years.
Howard Yezerski, a Boston gallery owner who has exhibited the project on two times, he said the project makes sense as it reflects a number of universal themes like from death to man’s obsession with immortalizing himself in some way.
