Kearney India Appoints Nikhil Bahadur as the Head of Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions

New Delhi, January 15: Kearney, a leading global management consulting firm, has hired Nikhil Bahadur as Partner, and Head of Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA), effective September 23, 2019. Nikhil will oversee and drive Kearney’s consulting services to Private Equity and Corporate clients in the area of mergers and acquisitions within India. These include acquisition strategies, commercial and operational due diligences, and post-merger integration services among others. Nikhil was previously with PWC Strategy& based out of New York in their M&A practice.

Nikhil has more than 25 years of diverse experience in India and the US, with particular focus on growth through M&A. After earning an MBA from Indian Institute of Ahmedabad, he joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 1998 as one of its first employees in the Mumbai office. Few years later, he relocated to the United States and joined joining Booz’s Consumer Practice where his work ranged from growth/ M&A, trade promotion and marketing effectiveness, organization effectiveness and cost transformations. Nikhil joined Nestlé in 2009 as Head of Acquisitions in North America. He developed and executed Nestlé’s growth initiative into the iced-tea category acquiring a number of companies and creating a new division, which he then led as CFO. Nikhil has also consulted for numerous PE firms and Hedge Funds in deal evaluation as well as value capture stages.
