Three people have been arrested by Kerala’s crime branch officials on Sunday in connection with the Puttingal Devi temple fireworks incident which claimed more than 120 lives.
The local police said that the arrested three are workers — who had been engaged by one ot the contractors who carried out the fire-work display at the temple on April10.
So far the 16 people have been arrested in connection to the incident. Out of the arrested, seven are members of the managing committee of the Putingal Devi Temple and the rest are workers of the contractors, police officials said.
Police have registered cases against them on charges including attempt to murder.
