Kuwait officials have arrest a Kuwaiti national for arranging funds for recruiting first batch of youths in India and arranging their travel on Saturday.
The arrest was made by Kuwaiti officials on the basis of information provided to them by Indian agencies.
The arrested Kuwaiti national has been identified as Abdullah Hadi Abdul Rehman al Enezi. According to sources al Enzi had helped in arranging finances for the travel of ISIS recruits — Saheem Tanki, Areeb Majeed, Fahad Sheikh and AmandTandel.
An NIA official not authorized to talk to the media said that the Kuwati officials informed the Indian Ministry of External Affairs that al Enzi was arrested a few days back and during questioning has accepted is role in the travelling of first recruits to the Caliphate — ISIS territory.
Indian officials had learnt about al Enzi after the arrest of Kalyan youth Areeb Majeed — first ISIS operative from India who was arrested in 2014 after his return from Syria.
Majeed during interrogation had informed the questioning team that he along with three others had travelled to Bagdad in pretext of religious tourism from where Rehman helped the four travel to Syria via Iraq.
