Pope Francis has opened a Laundromat yesterday for poor people. The washing and other services are FREE and will be open for four days in a week.
The laundromat which is close to the Vatican is having 6 washing machines and dryers. Ciro Guardaccione was among the first to use the new machines.
Pope has been trying to address the issues faced by poor and homeless. It is to be remembered here that Pope has opened a free barber shop back in 2015 and had also set up a dormitory for homeless men near St Peter’s Basilica.
