Mobile App for Paramilitary forces to lodge their grievances launched

MHA Mobile Application was launched yesterday by Union Home Minister Rajnah Singh. The app was launched in order to enable paratroopers from all the central forces to lodge their grievances easily.

“I am just a click away from all jawans,” Singh said at the launch and added further “Jawans of the central police forces are most disciplined. If they are disciplined, this does not mean that they do not have emotions. They may also have some personal problems and the system keeps on resolving their problems from time to time. The app is required when the jawans feel that their problems need attention of the ministry of home affairs”.

The news comes at the time when there was an uproar among the segment few months ago when a BSF trooper Tej Bahdaur Yadav had complained on social media about quality food.

This app however is not available on BSF website for security reasons but a separate app called BSFMyApp was launched by Mr Singh for the BSF personnel.

After launching the app, Singh said that he will review the dashboard of the app every month. He would also  check the status of redressal of grievances & MHA will intervene, wherever required. In a welcoming gesture, the minister has said that the families of the jawans who sacrifice their life for the nation should get minimum assistance of Rs one crore.

Indian paramilitary strength is 1 million.
