Modafinil Provigil towards Graduation: My Personal Experience

Modafinil is one of the first smart drugs developed in the world. Researchers from Oxford and Harvard Medical Schools examined a series of studies and showed that this drug really works. Researchers studied the results of more than 20 studies that examined the effects of Modafinil and when they collected all the data, they demonstrated that this medicine contributes to proper decision-making, encourages creative problem solving, but also improves memory and learning.

For this reason, it is not surprising that Modafinil Provigil has become very popular at universities in the USA and the UK, where students often use it to prepare for the exam. A survey conducted in 2017 at Oxford has shown that as much as 25% of students use this drug for exam preparation. Apart from students, Modafinil is also very popular among military pilots because it keeps pilots alert during the long flights.

Unofficial use of Modafinil has proved to be ideal for many other situations, especially for those that require long working hours. People, who are expected to work efficiently for long hours or are in the situations that require increased alertness, benefit most from Modafinil Provigil. It was originally made as a drug for narcolepsy, and later it began to be used for other sleep disorders, such as excessive daytime sleepiness, obstructive sleep apnea, and shift-work disorder.

Modafinil has been in the market for over 17 years. It reduces fatigue, increases alertness, improves memory and reflexes as well as motivation and mood. It is so effective that governments around the world use it for their medical and space research programs. People who use it are mostly healthy individuals. Modafinil Provigil is safe, rarely causes side effects, and has really low potential for abuse and addiction.

My Personal Experience

I used Modafinil occasionally when I was studying. I was a pharmacist student back then so it was really interesting to me to test the drug that can improve my learning abilities and memory. When I was on the first year of college, a friend of mine talked me about that “smart pill” that helped him to prepare for the exams. First, I was skeptic about that, but then I really needed some help for exams. I am not very keen on drinking coffee and it gives me heartburn, so I never used coffee to stay awake for longer hours. So I bought it from meds4sure here:

I talked to my professor of clinical pharmacology and she advised me to take 100mg of Modafinil Provigil once a day and to use it for no more than five times a week. She admitted that she also uses this medicine on rare occasions and that encouraged me to order this medicine. I mean, if my professor is using it, what could possibly go wrong if I start using it, right?

So, the next day I decided to try Modafinil. I ordered it via the Meds4sure online pharmacy, and I received the order very quickly (after only five days).

I listened to advice of my professor and I took 100mg of Modafinil after my breakfast. Two hours later, I started feeling the effects of Modafinil Provigil. It’s not like in the Limitless movie, but the effect was quite similar. I literally felt that my focus on learning and memorizing is much, much better. I was also able to manage with very little sleep and I learned very effectively for more than 20 hours. I continued taking it for next five days and it really made me more effective. Eventually, I prepared the exam on time and got an A.

I felt a bit exhausted after I stopped using Modafinil, but that was a small price to pay for passing an exam, especially if it’s important one.

After that, I continued taking Modafinil but only for really important exams. I used it for 6 or 7 times during the college, and every time this smart drug was beneficial in helping me to pass the exams.

It didn’t affect changes in my mood and I haven’t felt euphoria or any similar reaction. No one could tell that I was taking Provigil Modafinil, which is great, because I didn’t want people to know that I’m using “drug” to pass the exam.

Are There Any Side Effects of Modafinil?

Of course, they are. As any other medicine, Modafinil may also cause side effects, including serious ones. However, it has very favorable safety profile and very rarely causes serious adverse events. Doctor Ruaridh Battle from Oxford says that this is the first “smart drug” with no significant side effects.

The most severe adverse event reported in clinical studies is Stevens-Johnson syndrome. This syndrome is characterized with changes on the skin, including blisters that may be painful. In very rare cases, this syndrome may lead to kidney failure which may be life-threatening. Therefore, you must notify your doctor if you notice any changes on the skin.

However, Steven-Johnson syndrome affects less than 0.01% of people taking Modafinil so most of us are unlikely to experience this adverse event. Steven-Johnson syndrome usually occurs as an allergic reaction, so if you are allergic to Modafinil or Armodafinil, you must avoid use of this medicine.

My professor also warned me that Modafinil may very rarely lead to habit formation, but the risk of dependence is higher in people who have positive history of alcohol/drug dependence or abuse. Therefore, use of Modafinil in these people is not recommended.

Important Note: Modafinil reduces effectiveness of oral contraceptive drugs, so you and your partner must use other alternative methods of contraception.

Final Verdict

Can Modafinil help you graduate? In my opinion, yes it can. It will boost your learning abilities and improve your memory so you can prepare your exams in no time. Your professors will probably be thrilled with your knowledge.

If you want to listen to my advice, then don’t use it for each exam (this is just to decrease the risk of dependence). It is best to use it occasionally (not more than 10 days/month); although clinical studies confirmed that it is safe to be used for as long as 12 weeks.
