Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy has resigned ahead of the Cabinet reshuffle.
The resignation was submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Uma Bharti, Radhamohan Singh, Sanjeev Balyan and Giriraj Singh are the other ministers also resigned.
This move comes ahead of a possible Cabinet re-shuffle likely to be announced on September 2.
Sources said Nitin Gadkari is likely to get Railways and Suresh Prabhu may be moved to the Environment ministry.
JD(U)’s Ram Chandra Prasad SIngh and Santosh Kushwaha are also included in the new cabinet.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be leaving on September 3 for the BRICS summit and the government will complete the formalities before his trip.
