Modi Infosol enters the consumer market by launching AXL – AXciting Life

NEW DELHI, India – June 10, 2015 

Modi Infosol Pvt Ltd, one of India’s leading IT solution providers, today announced the launch of its consumer arm ‘AXL’ - an exciting range of mobile accessories.

Modi Infosol’s consumer brand AXL offers high performance mobile accessories, which use latest technologies and state-of-the-art hardware. Current Market Size and Industry Scenario

A high penetration of smart devices like smartphones, tablets and DSLR cameras, along with a growing demand for digital content has fueled the growth of flash memory storage devices among Indian consumers. According to a recent study by CMR India, ‘Quarterly Consumer Storage Flash Memory Market Review’ (Q4, 2014), India’s consumer storage flash memory market has witnessed an impressive 52% YoY growth in the fourth quarter 2014, recording 25.2 million unit shipments. While 8GB storage capacity holds a larger share of the market, 16GB pen drives gained a significant growth of around 12% over the previous quarter. Further, the market is expected to reach new heights in the coming quarter, primarily due to declining TCO of devices. Also, the OTG/dual connector market has started gaining acceptance rapidly in the Indian market.

An increase in the demand for Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as smartphones, tablets/phablets and laptops has further driven the growth of India’s electronics consumable market. According to ‘Research & Market Survey’, India Power Bank shipments value reached $6.91 million for the fourth quarter in 2014. Power Bank, with 5200 MAH battery capacity, registered a major share of the market followed by 10400 MAH capacity.
