The Indian Army scored yet another major success in its fight against terror after the commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Ayub Lelhari, was tracked and killed in an encounter. It may be recalled that just a few days back, Hizbul Mujahideen chief Yasin Yatoo alias Mehmood Ghaznavi was also eliminated by security forces in Kashmir Valley. The consistent elimination of terrorists in the Kashmir Valley has come as a significant boost to the morale of security forces and it has compelled those intending to join militancy to think twice about their actions. Such quick elimination of terrorists will contribute significantly towards restoring peace in the Kashmir Valley.
Commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Ayub Lelhari, was killed today during an encounter in Pulwama district.
