It had been quite often that I came across this recipe on my Facebook feed. Since the first time I came across it, till the last time, I had the urge to make it. Yesterday the wait ended, and I actually got down to make the dish.
The simplicity of the recipe lies in the basic ingredients that are required. Onions, mozzarella cheese slices, eggs, bread crumbs, cornflour and oil – that is all you need.
Step 1 – Peel and cut onion rings. Make thin strips of cheese slices and layer them between two onion rings. Like this
Step 2 – Dip the onion rings into cornflour, then beaten eggs, then bread crumbs. Again into beaten eggs and then bread crumbs. Do the same with all rings. Like this
Step 3 – Place it in refrigerator for an hour. Like this
Step 4 – Deep fry. Serve hot. Like this
