Today India’s top environmental court, National Green Tribunal banged Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for claiming preference in a tribunal committee’s new report. As per the report, Art of Living’s World Culture Festival damaged the Yamuna waterside which was held in March 2016.
NGT said to AOL that no sense of responsibility is visible in the organization after Ravi Shankar’s statements on claiming preference. NGT bench has set the next date of hearing on 9th May.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said that AOL has not done anything incorrectly.
It is said that the damage done by AOL, will cost Rs.13.29 crore and it will take 10 years to ease the damage produced to the Yamuna marshes by AOL in the last year.
