The Central Board of Seconary Education (CBSE) has declared its NEET results.
This year’s National Eligibility cum Entrance test is topped by Punjab’s Navdeep Singh who scored 697 out of 700.
The second top is Archit Gupta from Madhya Pradesh who scored 695 and third top is Manish Mulchandani who scored 695 marks.
Out of 11,38,890 students 6,11,539 have passed Medical Entrance examination held on May 7.
Of these 2,66,221 were male, 3,45,313 were female. Eight transgenders appeared for exams out of which only five have qualified.
The results were delayed due to Madras high court order that had stayed any proceedings on NEET.
However Supreme Court over ruled the order and gave time till June 26 to announce the results
