NHRDN – Bangalore Chapter partners with Chicago Booth

~ Partnership to help Indian companies benefit from Booth’s infinite knowledge~


Bangalore, September 12, 2015:

The Bangalore Chapter of National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN) entered into a strategic alliance with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business to create a “Knowledge Partnership” that will help Indian companies train senior and mid-level managers take on the business challenges of today and of the future.

The partnership was initiated in response to the changing landscape in the HR space and will offer several ways for Indian companies to engage with Chicago Booth. Indian Companies and Leaders will benefit from global research papers, access to Booth’s world-class faculty for training programmes to shape talent, as well as access to the online knowledge hub “Capital Ideas”- a resource bank of research being conducted by the faculty of Chicago Booth.

“We continually strive to build mutually beneficial partnerships and offer several ways for companies to engage with Booth. This alliance will enable Booth to connect with companies in India for all-inclusive research and help towards a more collaborative approach between academics and HR professionals. It will also expose Booth students to India Inc. and help Indian companies attract the best talent from the school”- says Abhilash Misra – Director India and South Asia Outreach at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

The knowledge partnership was announced on the sidelines of the 4th HR Showcase 2015, organized by NHRD Bangalore Chapter, on September 11 at White Feather Convention Centre. The HR Showcase is a unique industry platform for knowledge and HR best practices sharing for corporates, and to showcase some of the cool HR Startups.
