In a latest terror attack, at least 9 CRPF personnel have been injured, with 3 of them facing critical injuries. The terror attack occurred when militants hurled a grenade at a CRPF camp located in Tral area in Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir. The CRPF camp was located at Ladiyar village of Tral, around 35 kilometers from Srinagar and it housed the troops of the 180th battalion of CRPF. The grenade lobbed by the terrorists exploded inside the camp, causing critical splinter injuries to three CRPF personnel. The injured soldiers have been admitted to a hospital. The area has been cordoned off and search operations are underway to find the terrorists and arrest them.
This is the second such incident in the valley in the last two days. A similar terror attack was orchestrated by militants on Monday, in which, the terrorists had fired UBGL (under barrel grenade launcher) grenade at a camp in the same region. In Monday’s terror attack, two CRPF personnel were injured. These terror attacks highlight the growing fearlessness of terrorists and their desperation to spread panic and violence in the Kashmir valley.
