Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has clarified that he has no personal vendetta against PM Modi. However he also said that ge reserves the right to express his opinion.
He blamed PM Modi’s damaging policies for deteriorating relations between the two leaders.
During a show at India TV, Thackeray told that there was a time when he and Modi had good relationship but now his policies are damaging the nation; now he is opposing them.
Thackeray’s party Shiv Sena is an important ally in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government which is running at the Centre. NDA is led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Thackeray targeted demonetization drive and claimed the policy as failure. He attacked Modi by saying that one should have a heart inside and must not care about the size of chest.
On Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Thackeray said that Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav should get one more chance.
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray also questioned PM Modi’s relationship with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar.
