The Nokia Corp on Wednesday informed that it has filed a number of claims against Apple Inc. for sacrilegious 32 technology patents of Nokia.
The company Nokia’s lawsuits, filed in the courts in Dusseldorf, Mannheim and Munich, Germany, and also in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, user interfaces, chipsets and video coding, cover patents for displays, software.
Apple Inc has said they always been eager to pay a reasonable price to secure the rights of patents covering technology in their products but unfortunately, Nokia has refused to license their copyrights on fair basis further they are trying the tactics of a patent sprite to attempt to extort money from Apple.
Almost five years ago Apple Inc filed a sequence of patent breach cases against Samsung Electronics everywhere in the world which turns into wins and losses on both sides.
In past day the Nokia was the leader in Mobile phone but it did not go with the smartphone when competitor like Samsung was engaged in floating the Smartphones, in year 2007, apple introduced iPhone.
In October 2009, also Nokia filed a lawsuit against Apple Inc. in the U.S. District Court of Delaware claiming that Apple invaded its 10 patents related to wireless communication also, data transfer. In reply Apple countersuit paraded in December 2009 blaming Nokia of 11 patent breaches.

In year 2011 Nokia entered into a deal with Microsoft to wholly use its Windows Phone platform on future smartphones. The deal was of $7.17 billion.

In India, Nokia’s subsidiary has been accused with non-payment of TDS and misbehaving transfer pricing norms in India.
