In a shocking development at Tamil Nadu, former Chief Minister (CM) O Panneerselvam (OPS) has revealed that the he was forced to resign in a hurry by senior party leaders including soon to be CM, Sasikala.
O Panneerselvam was seen as a perfect representative of Sasikala and he has been behaving like an obedient student but the trend seems to be broken now.
He said that Amma’s spirit has guided his to reveal the truth to the people of Tamil Nadu.
This OPS revolt has put Sasikala’s CM dream is question. Political analysts are also expecting president rule in the state. OPS also said that there is a possibility of withdrawal of resignation if the party demand, indicating a major split in the party.
The opposition party leader, MK Stalin demanded the state governor to ensure the validity of the current government.
In a surprise event, OPS chose Marina beach as the stage of his revolt. He said that a 40 minute meditation at former chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s resting place helped him to clear his doubts. He also said that he will fight alone for the lost glory of Jaya’s party.
OPS directly blamed his party leaders K A Sengottaiyan, R B Udhaya Kumar and Sellur K Raju for insulting him and demanding his resignation so CM post could go to Sasikala.
He also blamed to be kept in dark during the election of Sasikala as the legislature party leader and threatened with disciplinary actions.
