On Friday Pakistan’s army battered hideouts across the Afghanistan border on killing some militants and top commander of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.
Targeted area and type of attack is not yet disclosed. One TV channel stated that terrorist reservations were situated across the Mohmand and Khyber tribal region of Pakistan. The raids were taken after Pakistani military called Afghan diplomats to its headquarters in Rawalpindi and handed over a list of terrorists indulged in enactment attacks in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s army asked Afghanistan to crackdown against militants aiming Pakistan. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar claimed the responsibility for the frequent acts of terrorism in Pakistan in the past days.
On Friday, Pakistan’s Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa had a telephonic conversation with US General John Nicholson, Commander of Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan and showing his worries over sustained acts of terrorism in Pakistan from Afghanistan.
