Pakistan father says his son’s heart beats for Sushma Swaraj after successful surgery in India

The father of the four-month-old Rohaan thanked doctors at Noida hospital , after his son was successfully treated.

Rohaan’s father Kamaal Siddiqui said that his son’s heart beats for Sushma Swaraj.

“The heart of my child beats today for Madam Sushma Swaraj. I would like to request her to open doors for those Pakistanis who have been waiting for medical visas. It is my humble request,” quoted Kamaal Siddiqui.

Due to the growing tension between India and Pakistan , Kamaal was unable to get visa for his son’s treatment.

He requested Sushma Swaraj to help in this regard.

She had promised Kamaal to open the medical visa for his son’s treatment which she very generously fulfilled.

On June 3, Kamaal tweeted, thanking Sushma Swaraj and her team for granting him the medical visa.

Rohaan was operated on July 14 by Dr. Rajesh Sharma team.

According to a statement, Rohaan was suffering from ‘D-transportation of great arteries with abnormal origin of main arteries from opposite chambers with multiple VSD and severe pulmonary hypertension’.

It took 5 hours for surgery and after which the baby was put on a ventilator, doctor said.

Let’s hope that the incident helps in improving the bilateral ties between the two countries.
