Baba Ramdev -led home- grown FMCG major Patanjali Ayurvedas six medical products have failed lab test in Nepal as all the six products have been found unfit for consumption.
The authorities in Nepal have urged the stakeholders not to sell or prescribe the use of these six medicines with immediate effect.
The six medicines includes Patanjali Divya Gashar churna, Bahuchi churna, Amla churna, Triphala churna, Adviya churna and Aswangandha.
There were total of 7 products for the test out of which 6 failed the microbial lab test.
Bactoclav failed the identification test and failed to meet official standards.
The report further stated that of the 82 samples were collected between 2013 and 2016 , out of which 32 failed in quality test.
Earlier in May, Patanjali’s Divya Amla juice and shivlingi beej had failed to meet quality standards at the pH value of Amla juice was found to be less than prescribed limit.
According to Uttarakhand government lab report while 31.68% of foreign matter was found in the shivlingi beej -the female infertility drug.
These two products were among the 32 out of 82 samples that failed in quality standards.
