Leading magazine group India Today and Karvy , the leading researcher has come out with their “Mood of the Nation ” survey and the results are very encouraging for BJP and PM Modi.
The survey clearly indicates that India’s mood is with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government if the national polls are held today. The survey states that Modi-led NDA will win at-least 360 seats if the national elections are held today. It also says that Congress-led UPA may get 60 seats.
The India Today-Karvy survey also mentions that the demonetisation move has increased the popularity of PM Modi government.
The extensive India Today-Karvy survey covered 19 states from December 30 to January 9 to understand the mood of the nation. The survey resulted a favorable situation for NDA as it can win around 42% seats in the Lok Sabha. PM Modi is also leading the survey as the best Prime Minister with 65% votes.
The graph of PM Modi’s popularity has stayed stable even many political parties ran a vicious campaign against him on the negative impacts of demonetization.
For the upcoming assembly elections in Punjab, various survey conduced by analyst indicate that on an average Congress may emerge as the largest single party with 49 to 51 seats, AAP at second with 33 to 35 seats and Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP alliance getting only 28 to 30 seats from the 117 seats of assembly.
