Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin a two-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi on Friday and is scheduled to inaugurate projects covering sectors such as infrastructure, railways, financial inclusion and sanitation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Train No 20903 Vadodra-Varanasi Weekly Superfast Mahanama Express.
The train would depart from Vadodra every Wednesday at 7.40 pm and reach Varanasi at 10.30 pm the next day.
He will dedicate to the nation the Deendayal Hastkala Sankul – a trade facilitation centre for handicraft – at Bada Lalpur.
At the same venue, the PM will inaugurate services of the Utkarsh Bank, which specialises in micro-finance.
He will unveil a plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone of the headquarters building of the bank.
He will later dedicate a Jal Ambulance service, and a Jal Shav Vahan service to the city through a video link.
Modi will visit the Tulsi Manas Temple in Varanasi by evening . He will release a postal stamp on “Ramayana.” He will later visit the Durga Mata Temple in the city.
On September 23, the PM will participate in a sanitation related activity in Shahanshahpur village.
The PM will later distribute certificates to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural and Urban), and will address a gathering.
