New Delhi, 22nd May 2015, National Institute of Fine Art (NIFA) has organized its students annual art exhibition “Antar Darshan” at All India Fine Art & Craft Society, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. The 5 day annual event celebrates successful year of its art students, their hard work in all its colour and forms at the well designed cultural space A.I.F.A.C.S.

With this Art Extravaganza, NIFA is providing each upcoming art student an opportunity to exhibit the multi-dimensional and original art works and also welcoming artists, gallerists, collectors, art connoisseurs, the general public etc.

The exhibition is Curated by Renu Khera. She is presenting best 20 students work what they have learnt in one year’s time. These all upcoming artists have created three original art works in different mediums like oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, charcoal & dry pestles and reasonably priced. The aim is to give a platform to all young artists and to make art affordable and accessible to the public and collectors with variable pockets and tastes.

One of the USP of this show is that, along with the general students, N.I.F.A is also having few special students and underprivileged kids who have toiled their heart and soul to show their inner potential. Keeping in mind the recent tragedy at Nepal, that left Renu Khera and all these students upset, NIFA has decided to donate 50% revenue of the painting sales to Prime Minister Relief Fund. The buyer would pay 50% to the students and cheque of rest 50% would be made in favour of PM Relief Fund.

Padamshree Shri Ram V.Sutar (Veteran Sculptor & President of AIFACS) was the chief guest for the event, while Shri Paramjeet Singh (Eminent Artist & Chairperson, AIFACS) was the guest of honour. Parents, faculty staff and many art lovers were seen during the inauguration. All the guests were touched by the works of these students.

NIFA is the foundation for all the students to not only give them exposure but also give them a platform to create a career ahead in future, says Renu Khera.

She further added, this is an exhibition cum sale show open for the public and the media to enable the visitors to interact with artists and experts on a single platform. Besides collectors, connoisseurs, artists, dealers, experts, gallerist art enthusiasts, hospitality businesses and corporate houses from the business hub in Gurgaon, Delhi and elsewhere have all been invited to partake of the important artistic highlights.

Shri Ram V. Sutar said, I’m amazed to see the work, it shows the creativity and deep intensity of their thoughts. At this young age they are able to express their imagination very strongly and I hope they will certainly make it big in future.

Thoughts by the Young Artists towards their work;

Riya: UP AGAINST THE WALL It’s  a bleak future….. for whom ? Is it for the rickshaw puller, who is losing to technology or for us who are paying the price of pollution.

Manu: The painting is personification of nature where I see myself as the main figure, viewing the world from the nature’s perspective. I select “Human Nature” to be its title if needed.

Gauri Garg: “If music is the language of the soul, and the language of the soul is the God. Then, music is the language of God.”

Vineeta: My tribute to the endagered species in India  the Tiger and Cheetah. These beautiful creatures are meant to live in harmony and peace in the wild in their natural habitat. Man has stripped them of their dignity. Inspired by photos from the national geographic.

Saishha: Wine glass and bottles in an extraordinary shape with bright and fresh colours.

Pallavi Juyal:My concept is  “DREAMS”…. I choose it because it is a wish of every human being to live life like a dream. But it is imperative to see the life as a wholesome game where there is hard work, ups and downs, despair n happiness. Life is the canvas of happening of things. If we are ready to enjoy every moment, life is really a dream..

Priti Shukla: No matter how old you grow but the person who loves you will never stop doing those little things to bring a smile on your face. Age is just a number when love is eternal.

Riya:CONTEMPLATION….. A faraway look in her old, tired eyes as they escape into a world of their own making, far removed from the harsh realities of life.

Debankan Das:Description: I grew up watching ducks swimming in water as I am from West Bengal. There are plenty of lakes, rivers and ponds. This view is very rare in Delhi. I missed these things a lot. This hot summer is probably the best time to enjoy the view of a healthy duck swimming in a cold lake. It gives us the feel that the lake is in front of us and is calling us to come and swim.

Vrinda:A lady becomes a mother not when the day on which baby open his eyes.. But on the day when lady comes to know dat she is expecting a baby.. Having a son or a daughter is not in our hands but here lady wants a daughter but she has not shared her wish with anyone that’s why we can only see an outline of a Girl’s toys nd a baby girl in lady’s hands So, Mother is the first relation which a baby share.

Jyoti Rana:I love music instrument and I painted an ordinary instrument as modernize way.

Pallavi Mitra:Certain it is that there is no kind of affection so purely angelic as of a father to a daughter. In love to their wives there is desire; to their sons, ambition; but to their daughters there is something for which there are no words to express, but a Painting can express it all about this sweet and secret relation.

Sonia Mandal:This painting shows how a small bird create it’s nest with different elements and makes a beautiful art.
