As per the sources some of the EVM, Voting Machines are not being operated in Punjab. As per latest cover, Captain Amarinder Singh, Congress’s Chief ministerial candidate, casts his vote in Punjab at 2.05 P.M.
In Punjab 48 per cent people have voted by 3.30 P.M while in Goa it has touched to 53 per cent at 1 P.M.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked voters to cast their vote and he urged especially youngster to be the part of vote casting in today’s election in Goa and Punjab.
At current in Punjab Parkash Singh Badal is chief minister who is presenting Shiromani Akali Dal. He is chief minister in the state since 1 March 2007.
The Present Punjab government is formed by Akali Dal with alliance Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The voting will be over by 5 P.M today.
Aam Aadmi Party ( AAP) has also made entry to win the battle.
AAP leader Bhagwant Mann stated that is he anticipating to win with voluminous margin from Jalalabad seat , here he is battling with Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and Congress’s Ravneet Bittu.
All political parties are set to fight election for 117 seats in Punjab assembly. The results will be interesting to see which Political party is favored this time in Punjab Elections.
