After Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi posted on Twitter that he would be visiting his grandmother’s home and spending sometime there, his statement has attracted some wild, sarcastic remarks. The tweet posted by Rahul Gandhi read, “Will be travelling to meet my grandmother & family for a few days. Looking forward to spending some time with them!” Reacting to this, BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya took a dig at Rahul saying that when he was a child, he too used to visit his grandmother’s house during the summer vacation. Apparently, it was to say that Rahul is still a child who needs to visit his grandmother during summer vacations.
Another sarcastic remark by Vijayvargiya linked Rahul’s recent attempts to show his care and commitment to farmers. Vijayvargiya said that farmers should not expect Rahul ji to take care of their problems since Rahul ji is in politics just because he can enjoy his summer vacations. Rahul, who is likely to be announced the President of Congress party, has often taken leaves and went on foreign trips. The reasons for his personal trips abroad are often unknown. Earlier also, in 2015, Rahul had taken a massive 57 days leave, and no one in the Congress party was sure where he was or what he was doing.
