Raj Bhavan in Chennai opens up for public viewing

The Raj Bhavan which houses the Governor of Chennai will be open for public viewing. It is situated in Guindy, place that is away from bustling city traffic and spread over 156.14 acres. The speciality of the Raj Bhavan is it’s duck pond, durbar hall, herbal garden and love bird’s nest.

The visitors will be charged a nominal fee of Rs.25 and they would be taken in a battery powered vehicle. They can also see the building’s main lawn and also the presidential suite. One can even see spotted deer inside the premises. The visitors can visit during 4:30pm to 6:30pm between Friday to Sunday(weekends) and has to register themselves on www.tnrajbhavan.gov.in 

They will be sent an SMS confirmation and an email acknowledgement. The mail has to be produced along with the original ID proof to enter this marvel.
