Rajveer Diler

Rajveer Diler is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Lok Sabha constituency of Hathras. The Hathras Lok Sabha constituency is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Rajveer Diler is a member of the Baratiya Janata Party (BJP). In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rajveer Diler defeated his nearest rival Ramji Lal Suman of Samajwadi Party (SP) by a margin of more than 2.60 lakh votes. It may be recalled that SP and BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) had jointly fought the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In percentage terms, Rajveer Diler got 59.49% votes whereas Ramji received 36.87% votes.Prior to his win in 17th Lok Sabha elections, Rajveer Diler had also served as Member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

Early Life and Education

Rajveer Diler was born on May 01, 1958 to Shri Kishan Lal Diler and Smt. Shanti Devi. He was born in Deorou, which is located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Diler has studied up to matric and received education at Lakshmi Raj Inter College, Gabhana, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. He married on May 25, 1975.

Political Career

Rajveer Diler comes from a prominent political family. His father Kishan Lal Diler was a well-known political leader and had won the Hathras Lok Sabha seat for four consecutive terms in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2014. With exposure to politics at an early age, Rajveer Diler has emerged as an able leader, just like his father.

  • 2017 – 2019: Member, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly
  • May, 2019: Elected to 17th Lok Sabha
  • 13 Sept. 2019 onwards: Member, Standing Committee on Rural Development

Rajveer Diler remains focused on the welfare of people. In his free time, he likes to read literary books. He also has interest in agriculture.
