Ramachandra Guha resigns as BCCI administrator


In order to ensure transparency in sport administration, the Supreme Court on January 30, 2017, appointed a four-member panel of administrators led by former Comptroller and Auditor General of India Vinod Rai. 

Historian Ramachandra Guha, one of the administrators of BCCI, told the Supreme Court on Thursday that he is resigning from his position and tendered his resignation to Vinod Rai, Chairman of Committee of Administrators appointed by the apex court.

Mr. Guha cited personal reasons for his resignation. The Supreme Court has asked him to file the plea in the registry which will be taken up in July.
