New Delhi, July 9 (IANS) Author Renee Ranchan presented her latest book ‘To Each With Love’ to President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan here over the weekend.
The work is a collection of six short stories — of which some are long, revolve around north India and have undercurrents of a satirical tone.
‘To Each With Love’ by Ranchan is a play of human nature on a vibrant canvas portraying a diverse range of characters — some similar, still quite apart. The stories, being an expression of the experiential reality of contemporary Indian infrastructure, present a fascinating study of the relational script of people belonging to a varied social milieu.
The tales, spanning a variant strata of society, reflect, psychologically speaking, tension and turmoil pertaining to the gaping class contrast.
The book has been endorsed, among others, by Karan Singh and Captain Amarinder Singh. The foreword has been penned by Reginald Massey, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, London.
Ranchan has also authored a collection of poems – ‘Untwined The Wind’.
