After Narendra Mod became the Prime Minister of India, the Robert Vadra land deal case has been at the midpoint of party-political defamation.
Yesterday, Priyanka Gandhi said that her money had nothing to do with those of her husband. Even her money had nothing to do with Robert’s company Skylight Hospitality. This company is under the Haryana government’s scanner over its land contracts with DLF.
A media house made an inquiry to Robert Vadra and asked whether a portion of the money he had acknowledged from DLF was also used by Priyanka Gandhi to purchase possessions in Faridabad.
ET said that an awaited report of Dhingra panel also expected to disclose that Robert Vadra supposedly made illegal incomes of Rs 50.5 crore from a land deal in Haryana in 2008, in absences of spending even a rupee.
Suman Khaitan, the lawyer of Robert Vadra said that Skylight and Robert Vadra did not make anything wrong and no laws had been dishonoured. He also said land had been accepted after making amount at market price and for same the tax has been paid too.
