RPF Sub-inspector Rekha Mishra was on duty along with her team in Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and they found frightened young girls in school uniforms de-boarding from Chennai Express on the Platform. Sub-inspector Rekha asked girls about the problem to them and girls could not understand here language. To speak with them, Tamil speaking person was called and it came to the light that these girls were abducted from outside of their school in Chennai, they were dragged in Van and one girl bit abductor and they ran away. Finally, these girls family was called to take them.
Ms. Mishra said that she has rescued 434 children and there were 45 girls among them. The majority of kids had run away from home as beaten by parents, or they wish to go to Mumbai glamor and other came to meet social channel friends like Facebook. Sub Inspector Mishra works with ASI Shivram Singh, he said that Mishra is a very painstaking and enthusiastic staff member and our staff must learn from her. She said that she feels blessed that she is doing such work and her daily working hours go to 12–14 hours a day.
Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, CR, RPF, said that Ms. Mishra has unique skills and she is doing a very responsible job and the department is in process of endorsing her for rewards.
