Actor Salman Khan will appear in Jodhpur Court today in connection with the 1998 Arms Act case which is still pending. The actor did not appear in person when the previous hearing was held on July 6th. The actor has been embroiled in other cases as well including the hunting of a deer along with few other actors.
Salman was exempted to appear in person on July 6 by the court but he must be present today for the hearing in the District and Sessions Court, in person. The case was pertaining to keeping the firearms illegally beyond their expiry date. He was earlier
acquitted in the Arms Act case by Jodhpur’s CJM Court. However, the state government had gone to appeal at the District and Sessions Court and hence his presence is needed and cannot be avoided.
Salman’s personal appearance was doubtful initially since there was an announcement of strike which has been called off paving the way for the actor to appear without any security issues. The outcome would be known post noon. His fans are expecting the better over the best.
Salman has always been co-operative when it comes to legal issues and it is highly expected that he woud be present today to justify the fact.
