Sasikala Pushpa, Rajya Sabha MP has moved to the Supreme Court seeking a CBI prome or a juidicial investigation by an apex court judge into death of former Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa’s death.
In the petition, Pushpa has alleged that Jayalalithaa’s death is “suspicious” as her actual medical condition has not been disclosed.
She has also mentioned that no one was allowed to visit her, her funeral photographs showed embalming marks and everything from her hospitalization to her death ‘was kept under wraps’.
The Rajya Sabha MP has sought directions to the Centre that the Tamil Nadu Government and Hospital to disclose details of her health report and treatment to the apex court.
Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Sakthi this week had filed a similar plea in the apex court. In their petition TNTYS claimed that doubts have been raised over the circumstances over the AIADMK leader’s death and need of proper examination of her medical reports by experts.
