SBI is now one of the Top 50 Global Banks. The bank which was in news recently for introducing the maintenance charges for not having the minimum balance of Rs.5,000 in its accounts has achieved this feat which no other Indian Banks has achieved earlier.
The bank which is the biggest Public Sector bank in India controls Rs.41 Lakh Crore worth of assets under its management(AUM). The bank employs 2,77,312 people with close to 25,000 branches and an approx of 50 crore customers. It is also to be noted that the bank has 190 branches across 36 countries. Quite an impressive numbers isn’t it?
