Shiv Sena MLA Gautam Chabukswar who represents drought-hit district of Osmanabad has sent a proxy to address the issues being raised by the farmers. He is believed to have sent Former corporator Yashodhar Phanse after all the MLA’s were ordered by the party chief Uddhav Thackeray to meet the farmers.
Shiv Sampark Abhiyan, an initiative by Uddhav wanted all MLA’s to meet the farmers between May 6-8.
Both Chabukswar and Phanse denied the allegations.
“For the last 15 days I was in Himachal Pradesh and I am now reaching Pune after completing my meditation course. I don’t have any idea who went impersonating me,” Chabukswar said. Adding to it “I do not even know this person.”
Uddhav has already believed to have pulled up some 27 MLA’s who gave a miss to his Shiv Sampark Abhiyan.
Addressing this issue, former Chief Minister, Prithviraj Chavan said “A committee of the state legislature should hear Chabukswar, but I will recommend highest possible punishment for him”.
There is a buzz that ‘Sampurn Karz Mukti’ (complete debt waiver) campaign would be announced during the party legislators meet on May 19.
