Sir Ganga Ram Hospital introduces new surgery technology for Hernia at low cost

In Delhi’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to operate Hernia, a new surgery procedure will be followed to bring down the cost very low.  It is 555 technique which enables .hernia surgery to do at low cost.

The new technique has now printed in the Journal of Laparoendoscopic & Advanced Surgical Techniques. Now, the medics will show this new innovative procedure on global stages.   

In the new procedure a 5mm hole to be made in the patient’s body which was earlier quite large compared to other techniques.

In this procedure, a trocar is used, which costs only Rs. 5. It is a device like a pen shape and used inside a cannula to create the passage into the patient’s body.

When Hasson trocar follows 12mm hole into patient’s body and it costs between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000 while trocar makes a 5mm hole which costs only Rs. 5.

The difference is like between apples and oranges.

According to the sources, using the new technology of 555 technique already 61 people have been operated.
