Tamil Nadu’s skull protesters have now be joined by farmers from other states at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
The protesters seeking a drought relief package from the Narendera Modi government has entered its 22nd day on Monday.
AIADMK,the ruling party in Tamil Nadu,has expressed unanimity with the farmers. Deputy Speaker at Lok Sabha also met the farmers at Jantar Mantar.

Tamil Nadu’s farmers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar since 14th March.
Last year Tamil Nadu recorded its worst spell of northeat monsoon in 140 years and government has then officially declared a drought in the state in January this year.
Due to the bad monsoon and drought conditions , several farmers allegedly commited suicide in the state.
Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami sanctioned sum of Rs.2,247 crore as drought relief to more than 32 lakh farmers in Tamil Nadu in the month of February.
The farmers wants center to announce a drought reief package of Rs 40000 crore and a better support price for their produce.
In the skull protest,the skull symbolizes the fate these farmers will meet if authorities do not help them out.Some farmers committed that the skulls are of fellow farmers who have committed suicide due to drought.
Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi also met protesters at Jantar Mantar recently and accused Prime Minister Narendera Modi of neglecting them.
