Mumbai,December, 2014: With the onset of the wedding season, the students of Whistling Woods Neeta Lulla School of Fashion showcased their Bridal Collection as part of their Fashion Illustration subject. This remarkable assignment was mentored by dignitary designers from the fashion fraternity – Neeta Lulla, Archana Kochhar and Rohit Verma.
The theme for the assignment was ‘Your Dream Wedding’, basis which the students had to come up with their own unique creations. Each student showcased their story-board, colour palate and their rendered illustrations of every function they selected for the assignment. It was a fun-interactive session wherein the jury shared their expert feedback, advice and comments to the young designers-in-the-making.
Commenting on the occasion, Neeta Lulla, Dean, Whistling Woods Neeta Lulla School of Fashion said, “We are thrilled to witness distinctive bridal creations designed by our students. The idea is to provide a stringent training under the real-time Fashion gurus. It is our constant endeavor to offer our students first-hand experience on technical and aesthetical grounds.”
Excited about the challenge, Pallavi Jaswani, student commented, “Renowned for their expertise in bridal couture, showcasing our work to the Honourable Jury, Neeta Lulla, Archana Kochhar and Rohit Verma gave us an opportunity to showcase our talent through our creations. It is like a dream come true and we are thankful to the institute for giving us this golden opportunity.”
